About Me

Saul Solano is a 14-year veteran of the graphic and fine arts and web design/programming field. He is currently a full-time Web Designer/Developer in Central Illinois, focused on creating user-friendly and intuitive front-end web interfaces. Saul spent a decade as a full-time Graphic Arts Instructor at Richland Community College in Decatur, Illinois, where he taught classes in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver (XHTML/HTML5/CSS), Flash, Autodesk Maya and a plethora of other programs. He also spent four years serving as a web developer for a large global agribusiness, where he created and maintained new content for the company 's intranet and Internet presence.

In his spare time, Saul works as an adjunct professor and a freelance designer for various companies/individuals within the community, with projects varying from designing corporate identities to painting murals. He also enjoys 3D modeling and animation, photography and creating hand-drawn illustrations. Saul is bilingual, fluent in English and Spanish since childhood.

Saul has a bachelor of fine arts in Graphic Design from Millikin University in Decatur, Illinois, and a masters degree in Web Design/Programming from the University of Illinois at Springfield. He has completed coursework in Animation & Visual Effects from the Academy of Art in San Francisco.
